I purchased the perfume oil/fragrance compound version. Honestly, it's lovely and emulates the Guerlain quality of fragrances quite well, but for the price, it could be considerably stronger per the amount. It is not my favorite Guerlain fragrance and not the best that Perfume Parlour has to offer (from its Guerlain dupes), but it's still a very good one. I like that the vanillin crystallizes at the bottom - it lets me know it's not a heavily diluted perfume oil dupe. For those of you that don't know what the original smells like (and, niether do I, by the way - I'm just very familiar with Guerlain fragrances), it is a sophisticated vanilla gourmand with depth and warmth to it. I smell a lot of what could be coumarin (a common ingredient in perfumes and likely what's giving it depth) and vanillin mixed with the other notes listed. The spicy notes are not very prominent to my nose but noticeable enough that they give this fragrance a grown-up edge. For those of you that love Hypnotic Poison by Dior, this might be your thing. I would categorize it as being close to that family of vanilla-heavy and spicy fragrances.
