This is a wild and provocative fragrance. A blend of spices and citruses in the top, which includes pepper and walnut, leads into masculine aromatic heart which unites lavender and Artemisia. The intense sharp base is composed of sandalwood, leather, Guaiac wood, and amber.
PP has changed the previous (better /closer) formula
I purchased this Clone some years ago, at which time I left a review. I purchased it again, recently, expecting it to be unchanged. To my moderate chagrin the formula has been changed. I find this formulation not as close a copy of D&G’s By (Man) as the older formulation. Even the colour or hue of the perfume is different. The older formula had a yellow hue as the original did. This one is colourless like water. Clearly Perfume Parlor has adopted a new formula, but to my nose, while the new formula is acceptable, the older clone was better.

Best fragrance you could ever buy
I ordered Second and Last for men (a copy of D&G By that was discontinued years ago) it is incredible. Then I was sent a sample of a fragrance made by Perfume Parlour called Seriously 1079. It is amazing, everyone complements me on how good it smells. If you are looking for a fragrance that lasts and smells great, this is the site for you.

Very decent clone of By
I got this a few years ago and it still smells very good as opposed to another popular clone company’s which expired after a year and it smelled way sweeter.
PP’s version is a little harsh in the opening and just a tad sweeter than the real By but it might be the concentration. The similarities are there 90% I’d say which is a lot, PP even nailed the creamy drydown.
Performance is similar to the original, which was an edt and had a 6 hours life, give or take. Now, more importantly, the compliments are crazy, nothing has gotten me more compliments than this and I own many niche fragrances, including LV and MFK hype beasts.
Please don’t stop making it and don’t reformulate it.

Fabulous Fragrance!
What a joy it is to rediscover your favourite ever fragrance! A fantastic homage to D&G’s classic fragrance ‘By’ which was withdrawn from circulation about 25 years ago. God knows why as it’s a fragrance unlike any other. Whenever I wear it, people are very complimentary about the fragrance and ask what it is. Please, please don’t ever stop producing this homage - it’s a fabulous fragrance!

My preferred fragrance lately...
I never smelt the original from Penhaligon's, but I smelt other alternative from other fragrances oils companies. I like Perfume Parlour proposal. It smells smoky and a bit sweet for some hours, I like the smell a lot. It tends to turn on the sweet side after some hours, but the smell is still good.

Absolutely Amazing
I discovered the original scent (Kilian Smoking Hot) in a large dept. store and instantly fell in love with it. I've been waiting for PP to release this and they have hit the nail bang on the head with this one. It is identical to the original. Smells amazing and lasts for ages. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. Only a very small amount needed for maximum effects. I'm using the 60ml Extrait. 10/10 PP.

A sweet hybrid
This is lovely and sweet, quite juicy as well. To my nose it's like a hybrid of Instant Crush and Erba Pura. It's just seems to work without leaning too feminine. This is now my 24th or 25th extrait bottle from P.P. I just wish the delivery was quicker.
