I don’t know what the OG smells like but I’m familiar enough with Guerlain fragrances to know when a dupe of one of their perfume creations smells good and this one does. It is a lovely dessert-like, gourmand tonka fragrance. My nose picks up the tonka bean and bitter almond notes the most. Smells creamy and lactonic, like milky, sweet, and buttery almond biscuits from an upscale bakery.

Relaxed and exclusive
A very relaxing fragrance. Reminds me of a freshly baked cake from my grandmother. Subtile, without significant projection or sillage. Unobtrusive but still noticeable. I know nothing comparable. Great.

My preferred fragrance lately...
I never smelt the original from Penhaligon's, but I smelt other alternative from other fragrances oils companies. I like Perfume Parlour proposal. It smells smoky and a bit sweet for some hours, I like the smell a lot. It tends to turn on the sweet side after some hours, but the smell is still good.

Absolutely Amazing
I discovered the original scent (Kilian Smoking Hot) in a large dept. store and instantly fell in love with it. I've been waiting for PP to release this and they have hit the nail bang on the head with this one. It is identical to the original. Smells amazing and lasts for ages. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. Only a very small amount needed for maximum effects. I'm using the 60ml Extrait. 10/10 PP.

A sweet hybrid
This is lovely and sweet, quite juicy as well. To my nose it's like a hybrid of Instant Crush and Erba Pura. It's just seems to work without leaning too feminine. This is now my 24th or 25th extrait bottle from P.P. I just wish the delivery was quicker.
