Geminessed is one of the unusual perfumes that represent the idea of a warm herperide-aromatic-marine scent for women. The mid stages of leather-floral mix found in this scent, sits on top of a mild musky and ambery base, so there is an almost oriental feel to it as well, but the feeling it gives is much lighter and more transparent than many modern oriental scents.

I bought this as a present for my Mum as she loved the original Max Factor Geminesse which is now discontinued. You can now only find vintage bottles of this on Ebay for around £200 so I was delighted when I found this site. My Mum loves the perfume and said it smells like the original. I never did smell the original so cannot compare but this version does smell like a very high end perfume. Thank you.

This turned out to be a great purchase. I bought the original after trying a decant. It wasn't too expensive but I thought I'd try a clone as well. At first spray it was obvious they were pretty close. I've had it about a month now and I just mix sprays between the Perfume Parlour and the original. They are both EDP concentration and last long enough for me. Next I may try the Carbon clone as it is only an EDT.

Beautiful fragrance. Wore it to work yesterday and got many positive reactions and complements at lunch, so like 6 hours in to applying. Is a good mix of noticeable and present but not cloying. Would definitely repurchase as a Diorissmo alternative.
