This is absolutely better than the original. No, it is nothing like Sauvage. No. No. No. This is its own beautiful metallic citrus fragrance that is 100 times better than Carbon. And no there is no opening of citrus. In extract form you go straight to the heart of this perfume, and stay there for literally forever. This has a real coal/metalli/water smell that is what Noir Anthracite by TF could have been. This is an exotic niche-like sophisticated smell unlike Sauvage that is nice and great smelling for about 30 minutes. PP has made a real powerhouse here. The water notes and soil tincture give a unique flavor Sauvage can only dream of. I guarantee you, you have never smelled anything like PP's Italian Air. Top Ten of PP. As good a PP's TF Lime Azure, Blue Fruit, and Creed's Virgin Island Water, Blue Waters. Extraits at their finest. You will never go back to the originals once you have tried PP's versions.

I would say its around 70% near Carbon. On the opening, I'm getting a bit of citrus which isn't what I get with the OG but it isn't horrible. It's nice and mellows out really nicely.

This is very similar to Sauvage but with the added elegance you'd expect from Prada. A great work safe alternative to Sauvage or if you don't want to smell like everyone else!
I never smelt the original from Penhaligon's, but I smelt other alternative from other fragrances oils companies. I like Perfume Parlour proposal. It smells smoky and a bit sweet for some hours, I like the smell a lot. It tends to turn on the sweet side after some hours, but the smell is still good.

Absolutely Amazing
I discovered the original scent (Kilian Smoking Hot) in a large dept. store and instantly fell in love with it. I've been waiting for PP to release this and they have hit the nail bang on the head with this one. It is identical to the original. Smells amazing and lasts for ages. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. Only a very small amount needed for maximum effects. I'm using the 60ml Extrait. 10/10 PP.

A sweet hybrid
This is lovely and sweet, quite juicy as well. To my nose it's like a hybrid of Instant Crush and Erba Pura. It's just seems to work without leaning too feminine. This is now my 24th or 25th extrait bottle from P.P. I just wish the delivery was quicker.
