I have been obsessed with Le Labo Iris 39 for a while but couldn't bring myself to pay full price for a bottle. Perfume Parlour was one of the few companies that made a perfume inspired by the scent so I picked up a small bottle of the EDP — my first purchase from this brand. I'm extremely pleased with Coloured Plant. I've done a side by side comparison with Iris 39, and the two fragrances are almost identical. In fact, I actually prefer Coloured Plant because I think it's longevity is a bit stronger, and the dry down is very slightly muskier and more unique as opposed to the more delicate floral dry down of Iris 39.

Very intriguing gorgeous fragrance.. old school elegance
This turned out to be a great purchase. I bought the original after trying a decant. It wasn't too expensive but I thought I'd try a clone as well. At first spray it was obvious they were pretty close. I've had it about a month now and I just mix sprays between the Perfume Parlour and the original. They are both EDP concentration and last long enough for me. Next I may try the Carbon clone as it is only an EDT.

Beautiful fragrance. Wore it to work yesterday and got many positive reactions and complements at lunch, so like 6 hours in to applying. Is a good mix of noticeable and present but not cloying. Would definitely repurchase as a Diorissmo alternative.
