This is an Oriental-floral fragrance, launched in 2006 as a modern and playful magical elixir. It celebrates youth and femininity in its top notes that bring the aquatic nuances with pure and sharp notes of water lily, apple, freshly-sweet mandarin and apricot. The heart is composed of exotic guava, Tiare flower, tuberose, with a touch of dark chocolate. The base brings powdery traces of vanilla, amber and wood.
You can still find bottles of VW's Princess but this smells more like my memory of the original formulation from when I was a teenager and this came out than buying the "real" bottles of it does. The original has been through so many reformulations and also they probably sell old batches or something, but just doesn't smell the same and smells very alcohol-heavy. This smells so good! Very pretty and feminine. Lasts long and projects well.

This turned out to be a great purchase. I bought the original after trying a decant. It wasn't too expensive but I thought I'd try a clone as well. At first spray it was obvious they were pretty close. I've had it about a month now and I just mix sprays between the Perfume Parlour and the original. They are both EDP concentration and last long enough for me. Next I may try the Carbon clone as it is only an EDT.

Beautiful fragrance. Wore it to work yesterday and got many positive reactions and complements at lunch, so like 6 hours in to applying. Is a good mix of noticeable and present but not cloying. Would definitely repurchase as a Diorissmo alternative.
