Grandeur Flower - 1911

The original of Grandeur Flower has been called a masterpiece. I have never smelled the original. But PP have done it again and produced a similar perfume(I bought the oil) that is, in my view, also a masterpiece. I will soon be putting through another order. It's not for everyone. It is a strong rose scent. You really have to love rose scents. It opens with soft spice and then, in my view, develops into the best rose scent of many rose perfumes I've used. The rose scent is very strong. It's unisex so the dry down is musky and with a soft oud. Yet, in my view, it remains feminine. I layer it with PP's Dame Painting. Dame Painting is similar but without the big rose scent. I love Dame Painting as well. I bought another bottle of the oil and will be buying more. But it dries down too masculine with oud and muskiness for my liking. But layered with a smaller amount of Grandeur Flower's rose scent, the two scents blend wonderfully well and with the rose of Grandeur Flower, the dry down is more feminine. I've been getting all kinds of compliments from both men and women. But do keep in mind that to bring out the best in these two wonderful scents, a little goes a long way. Neither of them is an office scent. They are evening scents. Someone said to me that Dame Painting is definitely a bedroom scent. By the way, the original of Dame Painting has also been called a masterpiece. I haven't smelled the original. But PP has certainly produced another wonderful scent.
