I've never had the privilege of even trying the original as the brand is limited to rather upmarket shops which are reluctant to allow a squirt let alone a sample.

This version is an elegant, classic chypre, which smells very posh. I love it!

V for women is incredibly lush - a patchouli chypre that I thought I would love. However, amongst all those notes is one that my nose just cannot take to. Think the men's version might suit me better.
