Green notes provide a fresher tone to the composition.

I finally found a suitable replacement for my signature scent
After having this scent discontinued, I starting looking for a replacement. Then it was brought back as L’initial, and then discontinued AGAIN! That put me on the hunt again. I was somehow led to this site and found this. I ordered it and I’m so glad i did. I got it earlier today.
I put it on and although the top notes are a bit more fruity at first, it’s settled within seconds to the very beautiful version I remember. The waxy iris and then the powdery vanilla. After wearing this the whole day it fooled me at times into thinking that I was wearing the original from 2011. It stopped me dead in my tracks and made me smile. I think i got my signature scent back!

MISTAKEN IDENTITY OR FORMULATION CHANGE?
I THINK I HAVE A CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY. I WAS THINKING ALL THIS TIME THE OIL I HAD WAS SPI BUT I WAS WRONG UNLESS THE FORMULA HAS DRASTICALLY CHANGED. TOO BAD I CAN'T IDENTIFY THE OIL DUE TO THE LABEL COMING OFF AND THE WORDS SMUDGING BECAUSE I'D LOVE TO HAVE WHATEVER IT IS IN THE SPRAY FORM.

I just bought a bottle of Shalimar P.I from eBay and this is very similar, but with better longevity on my skin. Top notes are slightly more green and fruity, but it soon settles into a very convincing version.

This turned out to be a great purchase. I bought the original after trying a decant. It wasn't too expensive but I thought I'd try a clone as well. At first spray it was obvious they were pretty close. I've had it about a month now and I just mix sprays between the Perfume Parlour and the original. They are both EDP concentration and last long enough for me. Next I may try the Carbon clone as it is only an EDT.

Beautiful fragrance. Wore it to work yesterday and got many positive reactions and complements at lunch, so like 6 hours in to applying. Is a good mix of noticeable and present but not cloying. Would definitely repurchase as a Diorissmo alternative.
