i have not managed to get a hold of the now discontinued real deal.
But i have found the next best thing.
dark and rich with that sweet but earthy tone.
i wear it by itself and in combination with fahrenheit EDT to add that dark oud to the amazing original.

Definitely a different sort of fragrance. Very earthy and a little unusual. It smells like the real thing which itself is quite an aquired taste. It has a slightly petrol-y fragrance. I'd say a cold-weather, nightime scent. One I'd wear for myself when I fancy something different, perhaps less so one to wear to please others.

I still own a bottle of the original scent, so i can compare it side by side, unfortunately the result is disappointing, i miss the deep and warmth of the original, this one is weak an more on the soapy side

Did smell similar but both myself and husband thought it had a faint smell of body odour? The same on my wrist so not my husband.

My preferred fragrance lately...
I never smelt the original from Penhaligon's, but I smelt other alternative from other fragrances oils companies. I like Perfume Parlour proposal. It smells smoky and a bit sweet for some hours, I like the smell a lot. It tends to turn on the sweet side after some hours, but the smell is still good.

I find it better than the original because the PP is directly in the bottom of the perfume with a 90% similarity (I own the original)

Absolutely Amazing
I discovered the original scent (Kilian Smoking Hot) in a large dept. store and instantly fell in love with it. I've been waiting for PP to release this and they have hit the nail bang on the head with this one. It is identical to the original. Smells amazing and lasts for ages. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. Only a very small amount needed for maximum effects. I'm using the 60ml Extrait. 10/10 PP.

A sweet hybrid
This is lovely and sweet, quite juicy as well. To my nose it's like a hybrid of Instant Crush and Erba Pura. It's just seems to work without leaning too feminine. This is now my 24th or 25th extrait bottle from P.P. I just wish the delivery was quicker.
