Just WOOOW! I tried too many fragances until I found this hidden gem.
This is my new favourite masculine fragance (from my over 200 frags). Masculine, Modern (Not sweet), Sophisticated; Work, Business, Dates even for an important casual event (just keep it a bit classy).
Think James Bond, and this is the aroma I bet He wears.

LXXI Extreme is marketed as an amber fougere fragrance but there is nothing old scholl, barbershop or old mannish about this scent. THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDFATHERS FRAGRANCE. This is a winner straight out of the gate. You get a very smooth and creamy effect with the amber and casherman souped up. Then comes a nice blast of oud that blends in with the bay leaf, bergamont, lavender and sage. This almost smells leathery but the added vetiver gives it an sophisticated edge. LXXI is fresh, cooling and warm at the same time. It is unique and signature scent worthy. Nothing smells like this or this good. I have bought two bottles and will get two 12ml sizes for back up
I bought it to see if it was worth it and not waste my ADG Parfum.
It ended up being a great buy; I'll get the 60 ml one. It's not a one-to-one, but it's definitely great.
I compared them and the OG felt greener and the PP more balanced.
For me, it's a great buy if you don't want to spend money on the original.

My preferred fragrance lately...
I never smelt the original from Penhaligon's, but I smelt other alternative from other fragrances oils companies. I like Perfume Parlour proposal. It smells smoky and a bit sweet for some hours, I like the smell a lot. It tends to turn on the sweet side after some hours, but the smell is still good.

I find it better than the original because the PP is directly in the bottom of the perfume with a 90% similarity (I own the original)

Absolutely Amazing
I discovered the original scent (Kilian Smoking Hot) in a large dept. store and instantly fell in love with it. I've been waiting for PP to release this and they have hit the nail bang on the head with this one. It is identical to the original. Smells amazing and lasts for ages. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. Only a very small amount needed for maximum effects. I'm using the 60ml Extrait. 10/10 PP.
