Alright, to start this off, I have tried more than 50 fragrances from the perfume parlour ranging from summer, fall winter and in between.
I got a 30ml bottle around December 20th 2024, and have had it sitting in my collection untouched, only being sprayed for my initial thoughts. I felt as if the fragrance was linear, and didn't perform well. Fast forward to September 2025, i fully gave this fragrance a try while the temperature was 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
the opening is a rich blend of mint and vanilla. In the back seat, you can get whiffs of a seductive amber/musk note, smoothing the whole top base together. In the first 10 minutes, you get strong hints of the mint and vanilla. along the 1-hour mark the mint fades away, and the musk and vanilla notes become the star of the show. On the dry down, it has the most seductive vanilla notes in all of perfumery. leaving a scent trail of rich vanilla and musk like bakery aroma.
alright, so if I could explain this fragrance, this is what I'd say.
You're walking around the mall on Christmas Day, and you pass by the Christmas candles/lotions at Lush, and you get a hint of the peppermint/Christmas scents illuminating from the store, you go further into the store and find a cashmere sweater as you put it on you get whiffs otf the perfume youre wearing that is a pure vanilla/sandalwood oil scent roll on oil.
hard to explain but yea its good, only thing that could be better is projection. the smell lasts around 8 hours+ but doesn't project like a vanilla scent should.
I was looking for something sweet and conforting for my wife ...and this is it ... never tried the original so there s no way i could bee disapointed.
I think is a safe blind buy but i dont see it so much as a unisex fragance
I've tested the original once, and to my recollection this smells identical. I haven't given this a full wear just yet so the jury is still out on the performance, but the scent profile is extremely close if not identical.
What can i say... this has to be my favourite fragrance. It's pure vanilla heaven. It gets the balance just right, not too sweet and not synthetic. I couldn't tell the difference between this and the OG by Initio. My only complain is that it does not last long. After a few hours it starts to fade but you can still smell it close to your skin. However, most Initio are like that. I would avoid the extract spray unless you like the smell more intense. I prefer mine just subtle.
Easy 8to 10h. Nice vanilla perfume, the same as original. For its price, great.
